The Founder of the practice, Storm Moore, qualified with her LLB degree from Rhodes University in 2004. After thirteen years in practice specializing in litigation, she opened Moore & Associates in January 2020.

Moore & Associates is a niche litigation firm, based in Umhlanga with plans for expansion into Cape Town, Johannesburg and into Africa. FEES AND COSTS
We are mindful of the value of the claims being referred by clients and the costs of litigation. The firm is up front about the prospects of success and the risk of costs, allowing the client to properly assess the value of the claim against the estimated legal fees.
Annexed is an outline of our standard legal fees but same can be negotiated to suit the client and the firm. Working together in finding solutions is key.

We specialize in recoveries from an insurance and third-party claims perspective in addition to recovery under contractual or property claims.
The firm has a fantastic track record in respect of recovery and successful finalization of claims. Oakhurst insurance has been a longstanding client for over ten years and we have exceeded their expectations on all fronts.
Where settlement is preferred, is reasonable and possible, it will be pursued and achieved. Where settlement is not possible and is being thrust upon the client, litigation will be pursued without compromise and all necessary steps taken to ensure success.
Due to Attorney- client privilege we cannot disclose more details of cases dealt with nor our clients names but the following gives a broad outline as to the type of matters dealt with by the firm and success therein.
We have been successful in recovering funds for clients on contractual disputes locally and abroad, with recovery as large as R17,000,000.00 on behalf of one of our clients against the Ministry of Eswatini.
We were also successful in the eviction of illegal occupants in a ‘highjacked’ building on behalf of a client who had stepped in to renovate and upscale the building as part of the inner-city regeneration project.
